Houzz Top Bathroom Trends for 2017

Houzz.com recently released their top 20 top trends in 2017 bathroom décor.  Certain elements appeared again and again.  Among them: compact spaces with the latest smart storage solutions, frameless glass shower surrounds, larger shower stalls in place of tub-shower combos, floating and furniture-like vanities, warm metal fixtures and floor-to-ceiling tile.  

  1. Midcentury Modern – Adding brushed gold fixtures and accents and natural materials such as a teak wood bathroom surround.
  2. Tall Mirrors – Vertically inclined mirrors with mirror-mounted sconces provides the illusion of space and symmetry in design.
  3. All White – White marble floors and shower surrounds, white shaker style cabinets, crystal knobs and glass shelving provide real glamour to a bathroom.
  4. Wet-Room Style – Open shower and bath enclosures without doors/curtains and tile surrounds.
